A fan of Dogs, good food, and songs that tell a story.
I draw my inspiration & creativity from old-school films and music.
So fast forward a few years, or 20, and I started a real estate company in 2008. Literally months before the recession really hit. But I had purchased a new digital camera as it was my intent to concentrate on the web presence of my listings via imagery. While my camera sat I had a co-worker whose son was a 4-year starting QB at Timberline. I took his senior pictures and the rest is history. And yes, I still own the real estate company too.
I never thought I'd be photographing people. I've always loved photography but not fashion or portraits. I was a massive fan of Ansel Adams and black and white landscape photography. So in my 20's I bought a film camera. Now I wasn't being nostalgic, digital didn't exist yet. With a snow storm coming I was going to start my journey. Mind you, I had no training, no education, no internet, YouTube or Google. Needless to say my results weren't quite Ansel Adams quality.
